Shinx Pokemon Amigurumi
So I made a Shinx.
A long time ago, when I first picked up a copy of Pokemon Pearl, my original team contained a wonderful Shinx evolved fully into a Luxray which I loved dearly.
Much to my dismay, I could not find a free Shinx pattern anywhere on the internet, and frankly my dears, I’m broke and I wouldn’t really like to pay for one.
So what do I do? I freaking made a pattern.
So a crocheted pokeball hat should come to no surprise! I got the hat pattern from Repeat Crafter Me HERE in the large adult size. I also made a baby sized one in the 3-6 month size.
For the large adult sized hat do 16 rows instead of 15 rows (an extra row of of 66 dc). Don’t do the ear flaps for either hat.
Large Adult Hat:
Rows 1-10 done in red yarn
Row 11 done in black yarn
Rows 12-16 done in white yarn
1) ch 3. 12 dc in the first chain (12) change to black. ch 1 to start the new row
2) 2sc in each stitch around (24). Leave a long tail for sewing
3-6 Month Size Hat:
Rows 1-7 done in red yarn
Row 8 done in black yarn
Rows 9-11 done in white yarn
The button: done in joining rounds.
1) ch 2. 10 hdc in the first chain (10) change to black. ch 1 to start the new row
2) 2sc in each stitch around
I think the baby pokeball hats are so cute! Smaller things somehow become cuter. I wonder how that works!
